2026 Kia Syros Launched in India at Rs 8.39 Lakh – New Variants, Design Updates & Features

Kia has introduced the 2026 Syros in India with a new starting price of Rs 8.39 lakh (ex-showroom). This updated compact SUV brings fresh design tweaks, more variants, and better automatic options, especially for diesel buyers. Positioned between the Sonet and Seltos, the Syros offers a bold look, premium features, and strong safety. It is already a 5-star BNCAP rated SUV.

New Design Updates

The 2026 Kia Syros gets subtle but stylish changes. The front bumper now has body-coloured aero inserts and glossy black skid plates with LED fog lamps. At the rear, the bumper is revised with similar elements and an LED high-mounted stop lamp.

Glossy black roof rails, ORVMs, and body-coloured side garnishes add a premium touch. Higher variants get new 17-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels with neon-coloured brake calipers. Kia has also added three fresh colours: Magma Red, Ivory Silver Matte, and Ivory Silver Gloss. The overall boxy, upright design remains for maximum space.

Engine and Performance

The engines stay the same as before:

  • 1.0-litre Turbo Petrol: 118 bhp and 172 Nm torque. Available with 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT automatic.
  • 1.5-litre Diesel: 114 bhp and 250 Nm torque. Comes with 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.

The big news is wider availability of automatic options, especially diesel automatics starting from the HTK+ trim. This makes the Syros more convenient for city and highway driving.
