2026 Tata Punch Facelift Live Launch And Latest Updates: Price, Features, Colours
The 2026 Tata Punch Facelift has finally arrived! Tata Motors launched this updated micro-SUV on January 13, 2026, in India. It is the first major refresh for the popular Punch since 2021. The new model brings sharper looks, more features, better safety, and a powerful new engine. It aims to stay strong against rivals like Hyundai Exter, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Citroen C3.
This facelift keeps the boxy, tough style that people love but adds modern touches inspired by newer Tata cars like the Punch EV.
New Design and Exterior Updates
The 2026 Tata Punch looks fresh and bold. The front gets slim LED DRLs, a new grille, and vertical LED headlamps. The bumper is redesigned with better air intake and silver accents. At the back, you get connected LED tail lamps with a light bar and updated “PUNCH” badging. New alloy wheels add style. It feels more premium now.
Tata offers six exciting colours: Cyantafic Blue, Caramel Yellow, Bengal Rouge Red, Daytona Grey, Coorg Clouds Silver, and Pristine White. Some colours come in dual-tone options too.
Interior and Features

Inside, the cabin feels upgraded. You get a new two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, touch-based AC controls, and dual-tone grey-blue seats. The infotainment screen is now a bigger 10.25-inch unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Higher variants add a 7-inch digital driver display, wireless phone charging, and a voice-assisted sunroof.
Safety is top-notch with six airbags as standard, ESP, ABS, tyre pressure monitoring, rear camera, and more. Top models may get a 360-degree camera and other advanced aids.
2026 Tata Punch Facelift Variants
Tata simplified the lineup to six variants: Smart, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ S. The base Smart gets good basics like LED lights, keyless entry, and driving modes. Higher ones add premium touches.
Engine and Performance
The facelift keeps the trusted 1.2-litre petrol engine (around 88 PS) with manual/AMT and CNG options. The big news is the new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine making about 120 PS and better torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual for fun driving. Mileage should stay good, like the old model.
2026 Tata Punch Facelift Price
Prices start around ₹6 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant and go up to about ₹10-11 lakh for the top one. Exact figures came out at launch, with a small hike for the new updates.
The 2026 Tata Punch facelift is a smart upgrade. It mixes style, safety, features, and now more power. If you want a safe, feature-packed micro-SUV under ₹10 lakh, this is a top choice. Bookings are open now—check your nearest Tata dealer.
